Simple Spray Systems

First things first
. Work with your paint or powder supplier to determine what time and temperature that the chemistry will require on your parts to achieve a complete and full bake schedule. The main question is what is the time at part temperature. Does your product finish require 15 minutes at part temperature of let assume, 350 degrees F. To obtain the 15 minutes at 350 degrees may require 30 minutes at 400 degrees F. What are the parts made of? Is it steel, aluminum or other? Make sure what is required to fully bake your part. With your rack design how many parts will be baked at one time? What is the mass of the part? What is the gauge and or weight of the part. How much will be placed into the oven during a baking cycle. The oven will send heated air across the surface of the product film and will remove the cooler air with hotter air and so the stoving process goes.

Secondly, there are many things to consider when selecting a process to bake your product finish. If you require a batch oven, then placement of the oven in your plant needs to be able to accommodate the size of the oven in terms of width and depth as well as hegith and room for the doors to open. The height to the roof and obstructions (if any) for the exhaust stack. If you can have some flexibility in exactly where the footprint goes, then you may save yourself the added expense of an offset stack. The electrical service and gas service need to be within 25' for the purpose of figuring installation cost. Please supply electrical service requirement and available gas pressure available. It maybe that a gas regulator may need to be furnished (by others).

Thirdly, what is the size of the rack that the parts will be hung on while in the oven. Is there a staging area for parts to be in a cue while waiting for the next baking cycle. Have you provided for an area where the parts may cool down before moving on to the next process step.

Fourthly, an industrial batch baking oven has a manufacturing standard lead time. Let's get together and come to an understanding of the scope of your baking oven and or finishing line project. We will do our best to move the process along in a timely fashion to help you move this project forward into production.

Fifth, do you require any masking or plugs for the part spraying and baking. Do you have the fixture design and hooks required for your parts that would be necessary for the washing, drying, spraying and baking? If you require some help in this area, we know some really good folks that can help you.

Sixth, where are you in the process, are you just checking things out, or planning for a project a year from now, or are you at a point where it is time to begin this project? It is never to soon to begin a conversation about your project.

Please note if you need financing for the project, we can help. We have a financial partner. We can have a credit decision for you in a matter of a few moments.
