Compressed-Air and System Requirements
PowrCoat sprayers require a properly sized compressed-air supply. Confirm the required air volume, air pressure, fluid pressure, hose rating, spray-gun rating, tip size, grounding requirements, and material compatibility before selecting a system.
Pneumatic operation eliminates an electric drive motor at the pump, but it does not automatically certify every complete installation for use in a hazardous location. The facility operator must confirm applicable codes, equipment ratings, ventilation, grounding, and hazardous-location requirements.
Every fluid-side component must be compatible with the coating and rated for at least the maximum operating pressure of the selected sprayer. This includes the spray gun, fluid hose, fittings, filter, tip holder, and related accessories.
