How to Read a 36-XXX Tip Number
Each C.A. Technologies tip number tells you exactly what spray pattern and orifice you’re getting:

36- → Identifies the part as a C.A. Technologies Air Assist Airless tip.

First digit after the dash → Add a zero to get the fan angle in degrees.

Second digit → Multiply by 2 to get the spray pattern width in inches (at ~12" from the surface).

Last two digits → Identify the orifice size in thousandths of an inch.
